1. Our first adventure - Vigil's End!
Two weeks ago we showed some first work in progess shot of our first adventure - Vigil's End! Simply put, our goal is to release an immersive gameplay experience that'll blow your minds. To achieve this lofty goal, we want to get the most out of Foundry and into your player's imagination. We are feeling really good about the progress we're making and we'd like to show you another glimpse at what's coming! Let's take a look at the main menu screen, from where you'll be able to navigate to your character sheets, maps or journals (or whatever you want, as long as your DM intends to grant you these powers!):
Yeah, that's a mood. It's also an eeearly WIP, so there's still some stuff left to do. If you want to to get some impressions of Jon Robs awe-inspiring soundtrack that will accompany your party through the damp corridors of this once proud hold, check out this video on our youtube channel- its like an image, but with sound. Stay tuned for more infos!
2. Do you want to become part of Beneos Battlemaps?
We have so many ideas, plans and sudden bursts of inspiration concerning what we'd like to do, but a limited amount of time and (wo)man power. That's why we would like to invite you once more to think about joining our team in creating battlemaps the Beneos way! If you know your way around the Unreal Engine and could see yourself enjoying working with an international team of creative and driven people to create Pen & Paper content, you might fit right in! We'd love to shoot for even more releases, even more content, more maps, one-shots, adventures, battlepacks, modules - you get the gist. We'd love to welcome more creators who are willing to develop and execute artistic visions on a honestly sometimes pretty tight and punctual schedule to our team! If you're interested, feel free to shoot us a message and we'll get in touch!
3. Are you hyped for Spelljammer?
Sooo, Spelljammer's coming. We've received a lot of feedback concerning an increased interest in switching to a Spelljammer setting, once the new D&D 5e expansion launches. What is Spelljammer? Well, the offical D&D website probably puts it best:
"Home of the stars and gateway to the heavens, the Astral Plane teems with excitement and possibility. With the help of magic, spelljammers can cross the oceans of Wildspace, ply the silvery void known as the Astral Sea, and hop between worlds of the D&D multiverse."
Combine that with Nautilus-shaped Mindflayer ships powered by psionic energy, cosmic whales and a giant city-ship on the back of an enormous manta ray-like structure -
you thought we were kidding, didn't you
- and you'll get a glimpse of what this setting encompasses.
Hell yeah. So - let's dive right into the poll.
Question: WOULD YOU LIKE US TO TACKLE SOME COSMIC SPELLJAMMER MAPS?
