Yester Hill is HUGE! -> Ben's Day on Wednesday CW14: (Patreon)

Hey you Pen & Paper fans out there,

this is the first update post of a series. As I noticed all the updates from me working on stuff and asking for stuff can get too much. To prevent some kind of spaming I am going to set up one weekly update post on every Wednesday. I will put all the polls and weekly posts consolidated in this update. Let's start for this week...

YESTER HILL

At the moment I am working on Yester Hill and damn it's huge! I (of course) used the exact heights and scalings the module provides. Some of the slopes are so steep that A) it is nearly impossible to climb them without equipment and B) it is not logical that there is grass everywhere as the map implies. But none or less it will be a BEAUTIFULL Map. While building the map I got the old antique german tribe vibes ^^ I espect to release this map late this week or early next week. Here are some Impressions:

ANIMATED TOKENS AND LANDING PAGES

Last time I asked for feedback regarding the demand of animated tokens, isometrics and animated landing pages. Therefore I provided some previews and concepts (See Here). Since less then 50% of my Patreons voted either for animated Tokens or Landing Pages I will put this idea back in the shelf and continue doing them for my table but not as a curated release.  

WHAT COMES AFTER YESTER HILL?

Good Question! I know you girls and guys are eager waiting for the big places like amber temple and of c(o)urse castle ravenloft. But I am not a fan of lose ends so I will put some effort again into Vallaki. Therefore I will go for the Coffin Makers Shop and when there is still time left I will work on some Bonus stuff like Vallaki Streets, the Church or the Stockyard. We'll see.

LOOKING FOR DISCORD SUPPORT

Last but not least: I like the idea of having a dedicated Beneos Battlemaps discord server where we can discuss new things and where I can also post development pictures and ask for oppinions. So you all could participade in the development process. Until I created one because I am that kind of person: I only start something when I am sure its as good as it can be. I would be absolutly able to build up a discord server with bots and rules and rooms and stuff but I didn't find the time to do so. Therefore I'd like to ask if someone of you would like to help me with that? I am looking for someone who is willing to build the server up with me with indepth knowledge what is necessary to do so I can focus on the maps. I can't provide payment (yet) but I can offer free premium access on my content as well as a direct line to me and my map decisionse.
