Unrelenting winds dominate these frost-wreathed lands, slashing exposed skin like a knife’s blade. The cracking of distant ice and the creaking of ship-wood meshes with the howl of the wulfen, accursed beasts roaming the vast rime-covered tundra separating isolated villages.

These harsh frontier bears hardy children, baptized by icy froth and hot blood. Clad in runic armour they set out to pillage and plunder, spreading terror by the will of their bloody-minded gods. Frostbitten, starved, but unbroken they return to their coastal villages, carved from stone and beset by everlasting ice. Those who died in battle will be entombed in great burial halls, armed with ceremonial wargear to keep fighting in the realms beyond.

Will you endure the unnatural cold of the glacial shorelines and without falling prey to their monstrous wildlife? Will you oppose the warmongering sea folk or join them on their raids? Will you dare setting foot into the ancient burial grounds and investigate the old faith?

Then steel yourself, warrior, as the wale-bone horn resounds, calling you to a world of iron, blood and ice.
