Chapter 1 Remake Page 3 Progress Report (Patreon)

I think from now on, I'll be calling "near-final/99.9% final" pages Progress Reports, since that sounds a tad more professional. XP

Anyway, I only have one gripe with this page, and that's with the first panel: I'm not imagining a college application would look like a simple Word document, so I'm wanting Atari to simply redo the panel and just show another angle of Sam typing away instead. Plus, I don't wanna show Sam's birthyear, mainly because I want the beginning of the chapter to be a bit more future-proof, and also because in this version, it's showing that he's 21, but he's actually 18-19. (The birthyear would've been perfectly fine if this were made in 2013/2014, but now it would look weird if I kept it).

One other thing I should mention that some of you might have noticed (but I missed): Lydia has entered the coffee shop a bit too early on Page 2. That's perfectly fine! I can easily write around this and have Sam notice Lydia when she emerges from the break room, but she has to briefly go back because she either forgot something, or someone called her back to tell her one more thing.

Working with an artist can be like being in an episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway sometimes; you sometimes get a curveball in the form of Scenes from a Hat, and you gotta adapt to it the best you can, and look good doing it. :P
