UPDATE: I thought of a better solution in case we aren't able to get enough funds by the time chapter 4 rolls around: Perhaps we could split the schedule up in half; have one week on Chapter 4, and the other working on the Chapter 1 remake, and alternating between the two until the chapter is finished. This way, we are still continuing the comic, regardless if we meed the goal or not.

First off, I'd like to apologize for the delay on the finished version of page 39; Atari is currently drawing a character for a contest that's on the side. However, the page should be ready on Monday!

Anyway, as we reach the end of Chapter 3, I've remembered that I cam getting to the point where I have enough pages to where I feel comfortable enough to show the comic off to a publisher, out of hopes I can make this comic into a lot more than just a hobby! The only problem I have with this? As most of you have noticed, be it on DA, or on the ComicFury site, I've had 2 different artists working on chapter 1, and one of which took the dialogue I had in mind in a different direction than what I intended. I obviously can't have an inconsistent art style be the selling point of the comic. That, and I think I can do a little better with the first scene now that I've learned how to cut down on word count since those pages were made.

These reasons, among others, are why I've created the brand-new $230 goal! Don't get me wrong, I need to have Atari remake Chapter 1 from scratch anyway, but if we were to completely temporarily stop on Chapter 4 to work on the remake, it would take around 7 months to finish with the current funding. I know people would not like that at all, so I replaced the original one-off comic with this one so that it would be a win-win situation for everyone; you still get your new pages on a regular schedule (along with the extra 5th page every month) while we have extra funds to also take care of the Chapter 1 remake at the same time!

Afterwards, I would really love to rework chapters 2 and 3 and make them look even more awesome, and also remove any potential issues we may get (specifically, the unintentional Trunks cameo, and the photocopied posters), and well as touch up parts that may look unfinished to newer readers (the white skies in chapter 2,  stick figure background characters, etc.). After all, I want it to be make it really hard, if not impossible for any publisher to turn us down for whatever snobby reasons they might have. XP

For those worried about the one-off comic goal being cancelled, don't worry; I moved it to $435, at least for the time being. TL;DR, I feel like people would rather see 2 pages per week on MB before the one-off ones that may or may not be canonical, depending on what the story would be. I am hoping that we will get a lot more people donating here so that we can get back to doing this again, and not worry about things being delayed again.

Lastly, I should also bring this up, these new pages for chapter 1, I might not upload them anywhere to the general public, at least for the foreseeable future. Why? Because in the short term, it would give this Patreon a tad more incentive for a while, and 2. Make the retail version of MB all the more tempting. Speaking of which, what I would like to do with that version is also make illustrations that are only available for that version of the comic; not only would it make buying the comic more enticing, it would also be our way of saying thanks to the readers for their support throughout all this!

Let me know what you think about this new goal, and if you have any ideas you would like to see implemented in the future!
