Fun fact: I think I might've subconsciously taken inspiration of the flash passing the couple out from this video I saw 12 or so years ago. 

It was this British hypnotist/reality show where they lured some guy into playing a House of the Dead-like game, which made him pass out, and they dragged him into this warehouse where he was given a gun and there were actors dressed up as zombies, which made him think he got transported into the game. XD

Though, in this case, I don't think Ramirez and Donovan are just dragging them home... or, at least one of their homes. : I
