Benelli has built a dedicated semi-automatic M4 shotgun, using No4 shot and a RDS.

This is exactly what we recommended in the InRange video.

There's no source, nothing about this on Benelli's site and that's not the Benelli logo or the Benelli Defense logo - did you just fall for AI slop?

Retired No Bad Days

I think it's time for some of the major shotgun manufactures to look into tube fed bullpup shotguns. I recently bought an Hatsan Escort Bulltac SA and so far it has functioned without any issues (about 150 rounds). I really like how easy it is to handle and point and shoot when compared to my Super Black Eagle. It appears all Hatsan did was move one of their receiver and barrel into the rear of the stock and move the trigger and grip to the middle of the shotgun. This form factor would be an excellent combat trench shotgun.

The Benelli Defense site is not exactly up-to-date in the news section http://www.benellidefense.it/news)

Benelli 1301T with the Demonstrated Concepts recoil strap gives you something just as short as a bullpup. I would take mine into a trench (if forced to) over a rifle.
