Twintail Day (Japanese: ツインテールの日) is a Japanese holiday celebrated annually on February 2, during which otakus celebrate the “Twintail” hairstyle on social media.

Double pigtails are an iconic hairstyle in otaku culture due to their frequent appearance in anime, manga, and video game titles. The Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon franchise is often credited with the initial popularization of the hairstyle worn by protagonist Usagi Tsukino in the early 1990s. In addition, double pigtails became very popular among Japanese idols in the 1990s-2000s.
