Dear Ms. Jessica,
Can modular girls swap their body parts with other modular girls?

A simple question with a complex answer. It depends on how the modular girl’s mutation works. Remember, some modular girls actually are just one body that doesn’t particularly follow the laws of time and space as we know them. If you detach their arm, the blood is still circulating from their heart, through their torso, to their arm, and it’s like it simply makes a jump from one location to another, skipping the space between the torso and the arm. These modular girls wouldn’t be able to attach their body parts to others cause they aren’t, really, even detaching themselves so to speak. They are still attached, just in a dimension of space we cannot see.

However, there is another type of modular girl which can swap parts. Basically, these are girls whose cells are more undifferentiated, like stem cells. These girls basically create independent body parts with their own organs and systems every time they separate. Heck, some of them are simply just masses of independently functioning cells that all work together, kind of like a “hard” slime or goo girl. These mutants could swap body parts, or even stick their body parts onto another non-mutant and grant them control. Their biology will fuse with whatever body they want it to because that’s the mechanism of their separation, fusing and unfusing.

Note, I do suggest not making a habit of attaching your body parts to people who have not mutated. The exposure to a mutant genetic pattern fusing with their biological systems has been known to trigger mutations in people with dormant mutant genes. I know your friend might want to know what it’s like to have four breats, but lending her your boobs might give her more than she bargained for.
