Brittany plugged the computer into the TV while Gaby finished popping popcorn. Caty, meanwhile, was rolling around on the couch.

“You could help too…” Brittany said with an annoyed groan.

Caty turned around and gave a long yawn, her tongue curling back as she did. “I got the movie. I did my part.”

Brittany huffed and went back to the wires. The three had gotten together to watch “Godzilla vs. Kong,” a real old fashioned movie night. They had plentiful snacks, popcorn, nachos. It had been a while since they had a get-together like this.

Caty loaded up the movie file from a USB drive she brought.

“I still think we should have seen it through a legal streaming service,” Britt said, always the voice of morality.

“None of us have any of the services it’s streaming on and, I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a credit card to set up my own account. Oh wait, that’s right, none of us have credit cards.” Caty stuck out her tongue and Brittany huffed again. “Besides, this file is in full resolution. 4K!”

Gaby turned down the lights as the movie started and the girls settled on the couch. It wasn’t long until the girls noticed some… oddities.

“Does the production value look a little cheap to anyone else?” Gaby said.

“I haven’t seen any of the actors that were in the trailer,” Brittany said. “And everyone’s dressed in such skimpy outfits.”

“It’s part of the magic of cinema! Don’t sweat the details. Just relax and enjoy the movie,” Caty said shoving handfuls of popcorn into her mouth.

It didn’t take long for the monsters to appear, Kong, a giant gorilla with four breasts, four arms, and a penis of considerable girth, and Godzilla, a lizard woman with two heads and six breasts, furiously roaring over an aircraft carrier clearly made of plastic. The battle began. It was intense and… erotic.

“… I think this is a different version…” Gaby said, with a heavy blush.

“What the hell!? Caty where did you download this from?” shrieked Brittany.

“The only place I could find it in 4K, MutaPorn.”

“MutaPorn!?!” Brittany flat out yelled. “Caty that’s a p orn site. It’s in the name!”

“How are you so sure this is p orn?” Caty said skeptically.

“Well in the credits it said it was directed by Ivan Nemmed not Adam Wingard…” Gaby said.

“And Kong’s axe looks like a D ildo!” Brittany barked.

“Oh, and now Godzilla is on top of Kong and… oh… oh my,” Gaby said covering her face with her feet/hands.

Brittany got up and closed the video player.

“Hey!” Caty protested. “Look, I admit that it maaaay not have been the correct version… but you gotta admit those actresses were putting on quite the performance,” she said through another mouthful popcorn.

“Shut up, shut up! Uuuuughh I was looking forward to this for MONTHS Caty, our movie night is ruined!” Brittany said, stomping back to the couch and sitting down exasperated.

“Hey, hey, come on guys it doesn’t have to be. We can still watch the new episode of I Became a Samurai,” Gaby said. “I have a CrispyRoll account!”

“OK ya big weeb,” Brittany said, “Let’s have an anime marathon then.”

“Great! I know this fantastic fantasy anime called Interspecies reviewers-“

“Shhh, not now Caty, it’s starting…” Gaby said enthused. The familiar title music of I Became a Samurai started up and the girls settled in to enjoy the rest of the night.
