IAN!!!! just as soon as I was thinking about throwing in the towel you come out with this amazing video, been doing my VFX colour correction and editing through Davinci Resolve for two years almost and been finding it difficult but knowing that theres always a way just makes me smile knowing im doing great in my own way!!! Much Love

you might find something like this really handy for some of the cumbersome hotkeys in resolve. and with its layers system you could also clean up any other pain points in your workflows https://worklouder.cc/shop/creator-micro/

I am kind of surprised that you never had to learn Nuke when doing professional work. I am currently looking for ways to set up Fusion like Nuke because vertical nodes are better and Nuke hotkeys are A LOT better, but Fusion is convenient for quick stuff because I don't have to roundtrip.

ian,Do you know? It was because of your video that I started learning DaVinci. In the past half month, I almost forgot the passion of learning Blender with you, but it hasn't diminished. I plan to finish learning DaVinci within a month, buy an FX3, and shoot a few videos. Then, I'll come back and watch your video again. It's like opening Pandora's box. From you, I received a side quest. Looking back now, you are my superego!

You can use vertical nodes in Fusion. Right click flow > options > build flow vertically. Also in Resolve they have a layout for vertical in Workspace > Layout presets > Fusion presets > Left Flow

You just conviced me to drop Adobe - I'm using Resolve, Nuke (learnng) and of course Blender. Bought the Affinity tools also.
