A longer-form deal, for folks who enjoy those! And we only get a *little* bit bogged down in cloth sims. I have a scene with a lot of boats coming up- time to start modeling them. 

I'm really into playing with translucent materials, lately. They're not that intense from a rendering perspective, and they can add so much life to a scene.

It's been a while since I've seen the videos on the channel, but this was a great reminder that something complex can be reduced to simpler forms. Out of curiosity, why are you using a volume scatter node, and when do you decide to use that vs say a Principled Volume BSDF or an emission node?

I must've spent an hour on the top railing cloth simulation trying to recreate this with the sewing. I increased the railing/skin size , changed the position of the extruded vertices (sewing) , everything . It's so finicky it's crazy!

Also is there anyway you can upload that cool yellow tarp image texture you used or link it! Way too good.
