Timelapse & Thoughts - V&M: "The Weakest Kink" (Patreon)

I've actually been wanting to make another "superhero" comic for awhile, but just hadn't settled on an idea I liked. Maybe I'm too harsh on my ideas, but I really need to love an idea before I commit to drawing the sketch - there's no worse feeling than spending hours on a sketch, only to realize that you don't actually like the idea you're working with anymore 💀

And yes, I had "Sex Bomb" stuck in my head the whole time I was sketching this one. I actually re-wrote the first two panels of this comic specifically so I could add that reference in the first panel lol don't judge me!

I still need to post this one over on Webtoon, but oh MAN, I don't know if they're gonna let that 6th panel slide - that's a bit heavy on the lewd side. Fingers crossed that I won't have to edit out the milk, and then Layla just ends up suspiciously dry lol

OH, ALSO, I totally forgot to mention it awhile back, but I've been trying to put more genuine effort into HANDS (not all the time, I confess, but definitely more often!). It started a few comics ago when I drew that 4-panel comic and the 2-panel mini-comic; I drew a quick blobby-hand, but I was like: "Hmmm, y'know, I kinda wanna try giving these hands a serious attempt", which is why all the hands in that comic look way more detailed than I usually make them. I'm sure over time it'll become more natural to me, but some hand poses are pretty tricky! There's definitely something satisfying about drawing a well-shaped slender finger and going, "Hell yeah, I nailed that one".

We've hit Wednesday, so we're halfway through the week! Hope it hasn't been too rough on you guys out there - just a bit more to Friday! I'm thinking I might dip into the Idea Submission Pool for this next comic, so if you've got any spicy ideas bouncing around your head, now's the time to toss 'em into the ring.
