August Commissions Open! (Patreon)

I'm officially opening commissions for August, for patrons.

Unfortunately I don't have a cool ad prepared yet. I need to create a new one which is going to include several updates. It's not ready to go, but I still wanted to make sure I give patrons 24 hour notice. I'll post the actual ad once I've got it finished.

There are several changes I'm making. These are the biggest:

• Increasing the base price of renders to $160 (was $140)

• Increasing the base price of cel shading to $90 (was $80)

• No longer offering the speedpaint style. (It takes about the same amount of time to do as a cel shaded piece, but seems significantly sloppier and I've been offering it at a much lower price. Lots of people like it, but I'm not really sure where it fits into my line-up right now. I may bring it back later.)

• The new "sketch" style I had been doing is going to be re-introduced as inks, and I'm going to go back to offering my original sketch style with digital pencil. I think the inking looks great, but it also takes longer—a lot longer than I expected compared to the first tests of the style. Test-driving it in July definitely made me realize it should be its own thing.

• Adding a flat color option for the inks, only $10 more.

With that in mind, here's my price list:

• Sketch, starting at $40

• Ink, starting at $60 (add flat colors only +$10)

• Cel shade, starting at $90

• Render, starting at $160
