I really liked this episode and Your reaction to it :) Luna was the night blood in The 100. You correctly noticed that the authors do not like horses and doctors (Herschel, Enid, Sediq and other doctors died). A poster in the abandoned Grand Hotel identifies Beta as a famous musician with the stage name "Half Moon" who appears to have a history with the hotel. According to the poster, Half Moon was named "The Most Prolific Musician of Our Lives" and "A True American Genius" (which is why someone said "your voice is familiar to me" about him earlier).
