I am glad that you liked the first episode. You almost started it perfectly, because if i remember correctly, fear the walking dead came out between Walking Dead's Season 4 and 5. So, you're not far ahead with the main show. Many people didn't like the first season back in the day. It was to much clichee for a lot of people. (Patchwork Family, Drug Addict etc..). I think they all missed out on a great tv show. Season One is fine, Season two is great and by season three, this show (for me) surpassed Walking Dead in multiple was. Can't say more because of possible spoilers. Just a quick reminder, in this universe, the concept of zombies doesn't exist. So it is perfectly normal for people not listening when somebody tells a crazy story like Nick did. P.S. Alycia (the daughter) is Commander Lexa from The 100. One of my favorit and most underrated young actors in Hollywood right now. She even directed some episodes of this show :) So, i'm really looking forward to go on another long journey with you and i am curios to see, if there comes a point for you as well, where you like this show better than TWD.
