Honestly I feel you mate, I did not like that ending either, seeing Ruth's mangled dead body from the overshot drone footage was when I checked out mentally to the point where I forgot that God awful black screen ending and those Byrd w⚓️s surviving, took the piss for me, writers are utter 🛎🔚s!

And before anyone is patronising to me about how "realistic" this ending is, I watch shows for escapism, the last thing I need is the reminder of the real world dreariness about rich and powerful getting away with it and the working class getting f**ked over for the same decisions and choices they make especially post-Covid-19
