It's worth noting that when the series first aired in Spain. It was a 15 episode season. Netflix cut it into two seasons. But also....for a long time, this was it. the show was a flop in Spain, no one watched it. It dropped on Netflix, it's popularity blew up and it became a global hit. Netflix then convinced the showrunner to continue the series on their dime. Now we're in the "Netflix produced seasons".
