Your in-depth analyses of these episodes is really great. I am currently watching other X-Files reaction videos as well, but I have to say you are really "scanning" the entire episodes you watch, paying attention to details, trying to understand it fully, and you do it successfully. Please keep in mind that the "quality" of the episodes is also a matter of taste. Yes there is some general consensus among fans that for example episode "Space" is one of the worst of the entire series, but even with that example you'll find fans who will disagree. So always try to form your own opinion without letting others influence you. As for myself, my least favorite episodes of season one are "Ghost in the Machine", "Space", and "Shapes". Keep in mind that the show gets better and better, and once you go more in depth with the mythology, you will realize what The X-Files is really capable of, although plenty of the standalone episodes are phenomenal as well. Way too many spectacular episodes to list, both mythology and standalone. It's actually this mixture of mythology and standalone, plus a variety of different genres, from thriller and horror to even comedy (in later episodes) that makes it a great series, as there is something in there for everyone to enjoy. I'm pretty sure that once you get to mid season-two you'll realize that it's one of the best TV series ever created. For me personally it is the best ever. Keep enjoying the ride!
