We are fast approaching the end of 'The OA' so I am looking for recommendations what to replace the show with.. We have a fair amount of horror/mystery at the moment so I want to keep the new show to being 'Sci-Fi' based. Let me know what you would think would make a suitable addition.

I was thinking of doing something completely different and turning back the time to my childhood Doctor Who (John Pertwee) and reacting to the Classic's from the early 1970's. Would anyone be interested?

Thanks Everyone

I highly recommend The Mandalorian. If you've ever been a fan of the Space Opera + Western mix, then you'll love this series. Firefly fans will also enjoy this show. Season 1 is complete and Season 2 is airing right now but about to finish, with a Season 3 confirmed on the way. It is on Disney+. If I had to describe it, I'd say it is an action-packed, adventure-filled heartwarming story about a lone gunfighter trying to protect something precious to him in the badlands. It takes place in the Star Wars universe. There are 8 episodes per season.

Have you seen Person Of Interest? Made by Jonathan Nolan and starring Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel. It's more of a action/crime show, but it does have a sci-fi angle to it that becomes bigger as the show goes on (I can't say too much without spoiling). It's amazing though. So much more than what it seems on the surface and so many great characters. Probably my favorite show next to Battlestar Galactica.

How about something different? You managed to watch Dark with Subtitles. Why not try something completely different? "It's Ok To Not Be Ok"? Tim Burton meets Jean-Pierre Jeunet meets K-Drama meets Mental Health. Lots of very creative and visual story telling. Mystery, Romance, Comedy... all in there. And only one season with 16 episodes with a completed story arc. Could be worth a try? Pleassse? :)

God there's so many, Maniac (Maniac is a 10 episode mini series and very very excellent and also undeniable proof that Jonah Hill can act), Mr Robot (it's kinda scifi..), Westworld (you haven't done Westworld have you?)..

SanchoPanza

I have had a lot of requests for 12 Monkeys so i think i am going to go with that one. It will start in January 2021 after the end of The OA. Doctor Who Classic may replace Sense8 at the end of the season

Have you done Firefly? Alas, only one season plus a movie, but well worth it.

I caught a few of the early Dr Who's, didn't grab me at the time. But I've been a fan from Eccelson thru Matt Smith. Haven't watched beyond those. Might be interesting to go back to the beginning.
