I think besides the hair, Naomi exercised between seasons and got real toned. Did you notice the aspect ratio change to wide-screen while on Ilus? Gives it more of a panoramic cinematic feel.

You probably didn't notice the conversation the first time through but near the beginning Amos and Alex discuss how to rig the Roci for an "unassisted landing" because Naomi would like to go to the planet as well. As you have well learned, nothing is wasted in The Expanse. Some things will pay off down the road and even in other seasons. Enjoy this introduction to the second trilogy.
