These are the Wachowskis and they are making a statement. If you have a problem with Identity Politics, this show is probably not for you because it's pretty much in your face throughout. But It's also the Wachowskis (the Matrix) so you can also expect an awesome, action packed, mind bending ride.

I'll grant you I'm watching this months later and I haven't looked to see if this was addressed on the YT version of this, but I wanted to clarify the legality, commonality, and reality of committing a trans person because the parent is religious, rich, white, and well placed. I'm from San Francisco. I know the hospital they filmed the exterior at. It not only can happen, it has happened and continues to happen. I have a friend it happened to two years ago. Of all the unrealistic things in this show, that is actually 100% real, unfortunately.
