Discord/Patreon Watch Parties (Patreon)

So as you may know, i was looking to arrange Netflix Party's but there are several issue regarding copyright and the chat window limitations for me to record it. I've decided on a better idea, we will use discord itself via the Go LIVE feature. It will be a strictly LIVE EVENT. I will not be recording or uploading this to Patreon. To see and watch it you will have to be there!

I will stream the TV episode from my end and use a separate webcam/mic. Patreons will simply have permissions/access to the LIVE room and can connect. You will then have the option to even add your own webcam so people can see you if you wish, however voice activity will be disabled for obvious reasons. We will have a dedicated text chat channel for us to converse during the live event. For those on mobile or single monitors, you can simply pop out the window if you wish, or use your phone for chat.

It is a far more simple idea and i have already been testing it.

Hopefully this will become popular and it will also be a new way to provide LIVE Music Reactions without having to worry about copyright.

I have made no decisions about the broadcast times yet and how often, but they are likely to be
