its sad to say but i wouldnt be suprised to find out that the show was actually toned down when it came to the overwhelming insanity of it all. . . at this point that their getting to the only thing they could do back then was to just throw bodies at the problem. . even nowadays with new equipment and tech we would still hit a point where the only way foward would be throwing bodies atthe probloem. . safety and prevention are the only means of saving lives. . once the 'bomb' goes off deaths arnt just inevitable, there necessary

I am surprised that you questioned whether you would get volunteers today for a suicide mission to save millions of lives. I would do it in a heartbeat and I am enjoying my life. Lots of people don't enjoy their lives. I would expect that the number of people who would not volunteer would be in the minority.
