Thanks a lot for the reaction to Avatar bro! It was a great show. About the war... yeah, they tone it down a lot but for something that was released by Nickelodeon, I beleive it was okay... In real war, the adventure of Sokka, Suki and Toph this episodes would have been suicidal and probably only Toph would have managed to survive. Also, yes, please read the comics. They're pretty good and they do close a lot of plot points including some stuff that you were asking about the end of the war, Zuko's mom, they go more deeply into Azula's madness and they reason why, etc... Since Korra doesn't really deal with a lot of the 100-year war which I'm pretty sure you already noted since I'm positive you already watched at least the first couple of episodes :P Well, keep up the good work bro and see you on Korra ;)

Thanks for this reaction journey Akasan!! Something to keep in mind: the storytelling is a little bit different in Korra and is a little bit more grounded. The mysticism is still there but the writers kept in mind that the people who watched Last Airbender are a bit older and can appreciate different themes that kids at a very young age might not fully get. Also, keep in mind too that Korra was actually meant to be 1 season, but the demand was high so they extended it a bit more. So like with the Last Airbender, it's not perfect. However the world building is just as good and many would agree that the character development with Korra is actually a bit better than Aangs despite being a shorter run (though that's a never ending debate within the Avatar fanbase as to who was the better Avatar, story arc, etc.) Lastly, will you ever react or livestream watching that trash Last Airbender movie M. Night made lmao because the Normies did it after finishing the series and it was hilarious. Maybe with Kali, DC San, and ALOT of alcohol lol

The fire nation is actually quite small like half the size of japan. Earth Kingdom is China size they stated the fighting has reached a stalemate with small scuffles. You probably forgot this much though. 100 years of fighting isn't gonna keep a nation powerful at all.

Will you be making a final avatar thoughts video? Because I did want to hear what you thought about Azula's takedown specifically and your thoughts on the series as a whole. I've had a great time watching your reactions and also can't wait for you to watch Korra although Aang will forever be my favorite.

The assumption Aang defeated the fire nation army is wrong. He defeated their greatest fireb ender and rightful ruler, Zuko and Katara defeated next powerful fire bender and heir. Then you have Iroh who is probably the most powerful fire bender. Zuko and Iroh are rightful heirs to the throne. Even if there is a general who wants to oppose he will know he will have to taken on Aang in the Avatar state, and Aang will be like an assassin on him. Fire nation only began it's invasions and colonisation because there was no avatar for 100 years. The assumption that the fire nation being that strong is wrong. You have forgotten in all the 100 years they never defeated the most prosperous and wealthiest kingdom in the world Bah Sing Se, only did it because the Dai Li flipped. Fire nation could not defeat the Northern Water tribe in all the 100 years. They beat the air nomads who never had a formal army.
