It has been almost two weeks since the release of version 0.917. We haven't had any news from us for a long time, and now we will catch up, but first we will deal with the vote.

As it was said, on May 10, vote coming to an end, that is, now. Oddly enough, the results of this vote are similar to the results of the previous one, but not the essence. You can see them below:

Of all the options, three stand out the most: NPCs, plot, and, of course, mini-events. Undoubtedly, we will soon start developing content in this direction, but more about this will be in the next WN. Now we will proceed to the details of the development of the past two weeks.


First, refactoring of the code. At many points, the code has become less massive and more understandable. In addition, due to refactoring, some more bugs were fixed, which will be discussed later. Now, what you should know about this point is that the performance has become slightly better, and the game has become more stable, especially with regard to the activity module of randomized NPCs.


Secondly, the activity module of randomized NPCs is not only what was described above, but it is also added with new activities, well, and the existing chances of creating this very activity have been adjusted. A detailed list of added activities can be found below:

1. For the beach, there are new unique interactions for NPCs: 34 - swims, 35 - eats ice cream and rests, 36 - eats a corn cob and rests, 37 - sunbathes, 38 - curiously watches the girls in a swimsuit, 39 - lies on a chaise longue in sunglasses and takes a break from the daily hustle and bustle

2. New unique interactions for NPCs have appeared for the temple: 31 - inspects goods in the shop, 32 - prays at the altar, 33 - walks around the temple and looks for something

3. For the class at school, there are new unique interactions for NPCs: 40 - sleeps on the desk, not paying attention to what is happening around, 41 - digs in a backpack and looks for something, 42 - looks out the window with visible sadness and watches something, 43-prepares for the next lesson, 44 - reads his notes in a notebook, 45 - draws some scribbles in a notebook, 46 - is on duty in the classroom (only at 16:00)

4. For the pool, there are new unique interactions for NPCs: 47 - sits on the side of the pool and rests, 48 - looks at the girls in swimsuits, not paying attention to what is happening around, 49 - adjusts his swimsuit, 50 - sits on a bench next to the pool and rests

5. For the school roof, there are new unique interactions for NPCs: 51 - watching the sunset go away, 52 - having lunch, sitting on a cold concrete field, 58 - looking from the roof at the sports stadium, 59 - looking from the roof at the students passing by the school gates

6. For the city park, new unique interactions for NPCs have appeared: 60 - sitting on a free bench and reading a book, 61 - eating chips and washing them down with soda while sitting on a free bench, 62 - marking time in one place, without letting go of the phone

7. For the cafe, new unique interactions for NPCs have appeared: 63 - sits peacefully and waits for his order, 64 - stares at one of the waitresses, 65 - eats, not paying attention to anything around him, 66 - sits with a textbook in his hands, peacefully drinking hot coffee

8. For the grocery store, new unique interactions for NPCs have appeared: 67 - examines the shelves, being in search of the product you need, 68 - examines the product in search of a label with an expiration date, 69 - stands in line at the checkout, 70 - counts the money in your wallet

9. General NPC interactions: 53 - smoking a cigarette, 54 - looks at you with some curiosity, 55 - looks at you with a blush on his face, 56 - looks at you contemptuously, 57 -looks at you indifferently

Those who read the list in full, could notice one difference - the locations in the shopping center have become independent. Previously, they were all considered as one location, but now, accordingly, even in the code, they are designated as different. This update and fix will improve the immersion in the game.


Third, bug fixes. Of course, we could not do without another bug fix, and even now we can say that most of the critical errors were fixed. Of the existing bug fix, only one could be considered as such-the distribution of activity. Before that, errors could occur, but now everything works as correctly as possible. In addition, some other bugs have also been fixed. Of course, they were less critical, but still... The full Bug Fixes can be read below:

1. Fixed a bug where multiple NPCs could talk and interact with the same randomized NPC.

2. Fixed a bug where the NPC activity was incorrectly calculated in some locations, causing problems with displaying these very activities in the corresponding menu.

3. Fixed a bug where from temple thrown out with the words that you are in school.

4. Fixed a bug where when you select the last character feature associated with the amulet, you were also given a new apartment.

5. Fixed a bug where a randomized NPC could be invited to run/learn in the temple.

6. Fixed some typos in the text.

7. Now, when switching to any location, the sprites of randomized NPCs are forcibly closed, which saves the game from bugs where they could remain after the dialogues.

8. Fixed a bug where the guy Meiko Tsukasa could not be in the "Pool" location.

9. Fixed a bug where events with Yuki Oota and Azumi could be blocked by the background of the location.

10. Fixed a bug where the Occult Club might not display all the NPCs on the location.


Well, the last point is the fourth. The most difficult for us and, of course, the most interesting for you is the creation of a character. Two or three months ago, we threw you screenshots of the interface, but we could not finish this very system. Now that everything is complete, we are slowly integrating it. One drawback - it will be inconvenient for Android devices, but for them we will leave a button with which you can switch to the old format. From the new one, a more developed attribute distribution system has been added, as well as a new past system that will affect the initial well-being and characteristics of your character.
