Episode 8 | Sprite Planning (Patreon)

Planning for Episode 8 is underway, and the time has finally arrived for the ultimate sprite... the man himself...

This is the list that is given to Deli (our Sprite/CG Artist) in order for her to prepare the new sprites for the episode. She is given a rough overview of the characters, how they should look, and what they might wear, but apart from that, the rest of the design details are completely up to her.

Here are our sprite plans for Episode 8, including a link to our inspiration posts (these make it much easier for the artists to get an idea of the characters).

For this episode, we just have the sprite for Zovack planned. Though his sprite itself will likely not appear in the episode, we'll be using it as a reference for a CG image he will be featured in.

Zovack is a man in his early thirties. He’s well-built and capable in a fight. Appears charming and charismatic, but it’s very much an act. He appears human but has both Tilaari and Kitalphan blood. His eyes are medium-brown, with bright yellow around the pupils (similar to Ryona’s eyes just a bit darker around the edges) and he has scarred gills (which are more scarred than Vexx’s, but still visible). Long, dark brown hair (around shoulder-length) can possibly be tied back, depending on how it looks. Wears a black leather, sleeveless vest with buckles and stuff across the front and black pants. His right arm is bare and shows a white tattoo of the K’Merii symbol between two thick, white lines (one above, one below). He wears a half-cape kinda thing that covers his other arm. White tattoos on his face, like a curved line/half-circle above one eye and below the other. Facial hair is similar to face claim.

Height is 6’2

Neutral – a warm look, his default is “charming”
Smile – charming dialled up more
Cold/Serious – mouth closed, an unimpressed look
Annoyed
Angry – teeth bared, showing who he actually is
Laugh – more of a condescending laugh
