This Week's Chapters (August 7, 2023) (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

It's a new month so I want to greet everyone who joined the patreon and thank all those who keep supporting me. However, there is something else to address first.

Some of you might know this. Some of you might not. Some of you have already sent me messages about it. Apparently, patreon did an oopsie which has caused a higher than normal amount of payment declines by banks.

Now, patreon send me an e-mail saying that they are working on the issue. Also, and I'm going to quote here:

If a patron reaches out to you about a decline, you can advise them to follow these steps:

1) Contact their card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card

2) If the retry does not work, try a different payment method. Patrons can edit their payments in their Settings, under Billing History

Now, to me that sound a bit like butt-covering and kind of shitty to make you do things for their mess-up, but I figure I should let you know the info I'm getting, small as it is. Hopefully, most of you haven't encountered any issues.
