The following questions come from a previous Q&A. I have some posts made on newer stuff, but I figured I should answer these first.

Q1: Who is the strongest among the three great powers beyond the Dead Plains?

They are more or less equal. However, it might be possible that the Peerless Heavenly Sword Peak is a tad stronger than the other two.

Q2: We have seen the “True” Dead Plains mentioned by Shang and his disciples. What does that mean?

This is addressed by Mud in Chapter 173, but basically, if you keep walking into the Dead Plains, you’re going to find an area that’s not only completely devoid of Qi but actively seeks to drain it. Only the people from the other side have figured out how to cross it.

Q3: Are all demons expected to enter the divine realm?

No.

In the first place, demons have different cultivation realms compared to humans. Their growth process is not the same.

That said, even taking that into account, demons are not expected to reach their equivalent of the Divine Realms. While they start out stronger than humans, that doesn’t mean their ceiling is that much higher. Even among demons, that level of power is not common, though it is more common than it is among humans.

If the average human in the Crimson Cloud Empire can be said to be somewhere between the Inner Realm and the Nascent Realm, the average demon is somewhere between the Earth Realm and the Heaven Realm.

That said, while a demon might have raw power equivalent to a Heaven Realm cultivator, that doesn’t mean the demon has all the bells and whistles of the Heaven Realm. That sort of thing takes time to develop.

Q4: How do the higher-ups of the Eternal Flame Clan feel about Jin? We know that Elder Xue favors him greatly, but what do Feng Gui and the others think of him?

It varies.

Feng Gui sees him as a promising asset, someone he will almost certainly send to the next Crimson Cloud Tournament if his cultivation keeps growing. That’s more or less how many of the other Elders in his faction think of Liu Jin. Someone potentially promising. Their expectations are tempered because they have seen many cases of prodigies who didn’t live up to the hype.

Curiously, Feng Gui’s brother, Feng Shang, takes Liu Jin more seriously. He is sort of conscious that Liu Jin is one of the reasons he lost to his brother and is somewhat interested in him.

Elder Fa thinks he could have gotten away with a lot more if it wasn’t for that meddling kid and his 𝚍̶𝚘̶𝚐̶ eagle.

Patriarch Feng Zhang expects a lot of things from Liu Jin.

AN:

This post was meant to go up way earlier, but I messed up. Then I was really tired to post it.
