1,500 Thanks! (Patreon)

This post is going to cover a lot of stuff, some of it serious.  It's part of the reason why it took me so long to post it. Originally, I wanted to have this up by Friday.

Well,  first it was Wednesday. Then Thursday. Then Friday. Then Friday Night. Then Saturday morning.

You get the idea. 

I've put a tl;dr down below, so you can choose to skip all this if you want to. 

If you choose to bear with me, here it goes:

First things first, we've (for now) reached the patreon's last goal. That's huge.  Almost unimaginable when I started out. Even now, despite having seen the patreon grow at a steady pace for months, I still ended up staring blankly at the screen for a while. 

This brings me to the second point. 

Someone asked whether this means I can do one extra Ave Xia Rem Y update a month. And you know what? That's fair. More than that even. It's a goal I have always had in mind. It's something I have always wanted to make official. Why not choose this special occasion to do so?

Unfortunately, now is basically the worst time for it due to a bunch of IRL stuff. This is where the serious part comes in.

Bad things are happening in my side of the world. Lots of people here are moving out, and I'm going to have to do that too. Which sucks. It's been messy, and there's a lot of extra stuff I need to do to get my things in order. That's been eating into my writing time pretty badly. It's been super stressful. About the only upside is that most of the people I care about can and will move out.

Which, don't get me wrong, is a pretty big upside. 

1,500 is still a big landmark, though. I want to do something to celebrate it with you all. Believe me. But the only thing I can promise right now is that you're almost definitely getting one extra update this month. That I had to add an almost there should tell you how my schedule looks like right now. 

tl;dr: We hit 1,500. That's cool. You guys are cool. You deserve one extra chapter per month, but I'm too busy to make that happen at the moment. That sucks. That said, I still want to make that (and more) happen. The only question is how and when.
