Happy Holidays Patrons! As we near the end of 2016 I wanted to reflect briefly on this journey we've gone through this year on Patreon.

I started this Patreon account last year after being laid off my job of 10 years at Artix Entertainment. It was a shock and the domino effect of that event started to take place quickly. Loss of job, loss of money, loss of health, ( loss of 2 wisdom teeth) loss of relationships and finally loss of house. And then strangely enough a feeling of freedom. With that I had to rebuild who I was. I was no longer a cog in a big company pumping out art and animations.  The chance to build my own arts was available to me and I wanted to give it my full attention.  

The more I enjoyed the process of creating my art again the more of you came to support my work.  It's just proof to me that following your passions is most important. I had a few job opportunites come that I could have easily jumped on board with but that would of meant my art would fade into nothingness again. Been there done that already when I joined AE.  It's our time to shine. I'm giving myself fully to animation project of Akumi while keeping you all engaged each week with these fun parody animations.

I just want to thank you all for helping me build this. I appreciate it more that I can write in words.  I know how much it means for your to support your artists, because I know how much I have to love the artist's I support as well.
