Sketches (Patreon)

So I’ve been really trying to listen to my instinct/ gut feeling recently when it comes to my creativity. 

Watched a lot of anime today. The first sketches above on white paper were done today as well. The energy you put into the lines are most important. The smaller top right sketch of the guy and sword I did before making the bottom center guy with sword which is a lot more lively. Once you have that, then it’s time to detail.

The blue post it sketches are ideas for character poses. 

Anyway, just remembering again the energy I put into the initial sketch is the difference between art having life or not.
