What's the lore with these clones what's there role in the Akumiverse

They are part of Rhoncha’s business corporation. He sells them as sex slaves and/or soldiers to the wealthy mainly. This patron driven story will be the first time we go deeper into their world and develop their lore. So it’ll be interesting to see where this leads.

These clones look like the girl from the grubby sex video was she a clone too I thought her and grubby where of the same race

There's a few ways this lore could go that might be interesting to the Akuniverse. The clone backstory is still a mystery. The clones appearance was established way back in the original Akumi episodes so it could be that this was an endangered alien race that first tried to save itself by cloning their DNA. On the other hand, Grubby is just a renegade clone who killed his masters to become a powerful criminal and taking clones for himself. I like both of these possibilities.

if there are multiple clones.... why not have all body types? Maybe thats quadruple the work for animating I'm guessing?.....

Yep, more characters equal more animation work. We can always have other character types come into play but to start, I want to establish one at a time.
