SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED 20: Update 3 (+ other videos) (Patreon)

I started off the last update with "Mirror's Edge is really hard to write for lol"
I'm going to start off this one with "Mirror's Edge was really hard to write for lol"
I've finished writing for the video and have already gone through one round of revisions with the person I'm working with on the video. I fully expect to have the script done by the end of the weekend, at which point I'll start recording commentary next Monday.
I'm really really happy with how writing turned out for this video. It was really hard, and gave me flashbacks to how hard of a time I had writing for the Dishonored video (because that was a struggle too), but I'm very content with how it's looking now. Recording commentary will likely be a pain as well though because there will likely be a ton of changes and revisions to the script on the fly while I record to make sure everything fits and makes sense with the gameplay as it's happening.
Last update I mentioned the idea I have for another video that isn't a SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED. That's still in progress, I'm not in a rush to make it and I'm currently in the phase where I'm reaching out to people who found glitches that I think would be good for the video. I originally reached out to three people, and so far have gotten one yes, one no, and one maybe. I'm going to wait and see how the maybe turns out before I reach out to additional people. Like I said before, this video is on the back burner and not really a high priority, but I'd like to aim at getting it done either by the end of April or early June.
With that being said, I do have an idea for a video that I think I'm going to throw together for April 1st. I never talk about sponsorships before they happen, however I'm going to make an exception in this case. I got reached out to by RAID: Shadow Legends awhile back and I talked to them for a bit but ended up saying no because I really just don't want to have that brand attached to my channel in any way.
However, I had an idea. What if I did an April Fools video that's a SPEEDRUN EXPLAINED of RAID and have the video be sponsored by RAID? It's one of the only ways that I can see myself taking a sponsorship from them, and honestly right now I need just a little bit of extra cash because it's looking like I need to have surgery in my mouth? Gross. The RAID stuff isn't set in stone yet, but I'll let you all know if it materializes. I don't think that a RAID video would really set me behind too much in terms of my schedule for other uploads. Probably would only take a couple days to make.
