We are running another night rifle match this year, called Moons Out Goons Out. It's an 8-stage, 2-night match taking place at the Echo Valley Training Center outside Winchester Virginia March 22-24. Announcing Moons Out Goons Out 2024: Night Vision Rifle Match

https://practiscore.com/moons-out-goons-out/register Moons Out Goons Out 2024 is a night vision rifle match presented by the 1 Shepherd Leadership Institute and Forgotten Weapons. It consists of 8 stages physically and mentally challenging stages over two nights, all shot in the dark with night vision equipment (Gen 3 highly recommended). Dates: March 22-24 (Friday afternoon through Sunday morning) Location: Echo Valley Training Center, outside Winchester Virginia Divisions: Active and Passive. No white light allowed. Thermal is part of Passive. Ticket Price: $300 Prizes: Outstanding prize table awarded by random draw. Divisional winners get bragging rights. Required experience: Prior competition shooting experience and use of night vision gear for shooting and navigation.

Would it be feasible to just duct tape handwarmers to the targets? And then monitor it using someone's infrared sight to see if it needs to be refreshed between runs. Obviously that adds expense but it's the most straightforward solution that's also resistant to wind and rain.

Between the cold and the bullet impacts, they just don't stay attached reliably. We tried a bunch of different options last year and nothing was effective.
