5 more commission slots chosen on Saturday! (Patreon)

[edit] changed the title to make more sense.
Saturday I will be choosing 5 more ideas for the Year of the Toon - Summer commission drive. I'll be picking from both the recent public requests, and from the requests many of you already put in.
While I have lots of ideas, I don't have a ton of individuals (most folk have submitted at least 2 ideas, some have done 3) and I would like to pick different people as opposed to the same person more than once (though, it's all based on if I like the character / idea).
So you may be wondering, are there some ideas Gnome likes more than others? Yeah, there are:
80's / 90's Animation: I love this stuff. You all are most likely at least a half to full generation younger than me, so most of these characters are just not going to tug on the same strings for you as me. But I think you'll find there is some crossover into your worlds as well.
Marvel: Superheroes are great. You can already see that I have a love of that genre, it's what made me want to do Year of the Toon (see the Myx / Batmite series here). I say Marvel because, while I like DC, I think I will be keeping my powder dry on DC characters for that series.
Strong Character Design: Any character that's going to have a clear, crisp color palette works great for toonification. It's really how I choose the anime / manga characters when I make my choices: are there elements of this character that, if "toonified" will still be recognizable. (The 13th Doctor pic, for instance, looks nothing like Jodie Whitakker, but you can still, I hope, tell it's the Doctor).
Finally, I know it's frustrating that I haven't opened this round to OCs. I have found, if I do that, all I receive are OC submissions; and this promotion is really about me honing my skills and translation of existing characters that are recognizable to others.
Note, I said "this round". Year of the Toon isn't over.
Lastly, I'm not sure when I'm going to stop taking ideas, but the sooner you get an idea in to me, the more likely it'll be done.
Thanks again, everyone, for your interest. This has been a lot of fun so far, and I want to keep this train rolling.
Keep Dreaming!
