I got whiplash this episode, the story moves at 1000 miles a minute but I'm enjoying every second. It's not like any show I've ever seen before!! As always, loving Tennant and Sheen, they're so delightful in thier roles!

I almost squealed when I saw this was posted lol The cold open of the next episode is my favorite, I can’t wait for you to watch it :) Also Neil has said that he thinks of Crowley as being genderfluid and it literally makes me so happy

Yaaaayyy I am so so happy you’re doing this series!! There is a lot going on but the humor is on point and the Crowley/Aziraphale relationship really carries the whole show. I’m a Tennant girlie from the Doctor Who days and I absolutely adore his portrayal of Crowley. (Sacrilegiously I miiigghhttt even like it better than his Doctor whoops). I agree with Ves, the cold open of ep 3 is one of my favorite moments in the whole series so you’re in for a treat! Can’t wait til next week : )

Again, great reaction. Can't wait for next week. One detail I wish they'd included from the book is what really happens to the plants Crowley disposes of. (He actually gives them to an old lady he knows nearby. The soft eejet.)

Absolutely loving your reactions to Good Omens so far. Honestly makes me look forward even more to when you're able to get to OFMD. I think this episode of Good Omens and the next one are my favorites from Season 1. And yes, it's totally madcap and fast paced all the way through. The whiplash won't stop.

Yeah, considering the pace/ the style of the show, a rewatch is reasonable. At least I noticed quite a few things I missed during my first watch, when I watched it a second time. I saw some of the other commentators shared non spoilery book knowledge with you. And I want to do the same for the scene, when Aziraphale & Crowley hit Anathema with the car. In the book the scene happens more or less the same way, but additionally we have Anathema’s thoughts. Understandably she very suspicious of the two “men”. She is not sure if she should get in the car of two strangers in the middle of the night. She even tells them that she has a bread knife at hand to defend herself if need be. But when Crowley says “Goodnight, miss. Get in, angel.”, she thinks “Ah. Well, that explained it. She had been perfectly safe after all.” Of course she thinks “angel” is a term of endearment and not the actual description of what Aziraphale is. But either way she was not wrong. None of the two “men” were interested in her…🤭 Thanks for sharing your reaction with us.

Tennant performance, the way he moves and talks, reminds me of David bowie and bill nighy. And yeah I frequently feel like bill nighy is just somehow frequently drunk the way he talks and moves so makes sense for Crowley
