Okay... the tears have slowly begun. We are properly starting to learn about Charlie's ED and it hits hard! <3

They did film some of the scenes in the Louvre, but during the specific shot where you ask “did we really go to the Louvre to film this” - nope, not for that part. They filmed a bunch of the gallery scenes in a couple different museums. They had a limited amount of time in the Louvre, plus they were extremely limited with how many actors + crew they could bring in. It looks like they likely only filmed the Nick+Charlie and Tao+Elle solo scenes there. Everything else was either a green screen or a different museum.

Apart from the Louvre they filmed in The National Gallery and The National Portrait Gallery in London plus another one unknown to me. I only know this because I was in them the other day and recognised some of the art. Also the show didn't seem to bothered about disguising or covering up the signs in English. lol.

The iconic “mon amour” translated exactly how it was in the book! kit and Joe are such amazing actors for their age
