Thank you for noticing Marcus gaslighting Simon! Here he is finally showing his true colors. He can go…bringing up daddy issues and shit 🙄 And then also kissing Simon publicly even though he was the one who suggested to take things slow. He’s so manipulative and doesn’t even respect Simon’s boundaries… 🤮 I hate him!

great reaction!! :] what a horror of an episode haha. you felt what everyone else felt when they watched it. certainly didnt see that ending coming. i heard another creator call the music teacher "old anne hathaway" and now i think of her as that every time i see her. she's great though! yeah, saras a mess .. know how you feel about that one.. and the ending.. man. it was rough.

I've said it before, I love Lisa's writing. Everyone gets bent out of shape here. But the beauty of this season is it's resonance with season one. Simon visits Marcus in his apartment and says it's "cozy." That's what Wille said about Simon's bedroom. Simon wants to watch a "horror" movie. That's what he and Wille were watching before their first kiss. Wille asks Felice to "hold me." That's what he asked Simon to do after Simon saved him from the football pitch. Wille is trying to reenact with Felice his first sexual experience with Simon. The boys are so in love with one another, everything they do is resonance with what has gone before. Watch for these resonances. They occur again and again. Watch for the "fish" scene resonance shortly. Loving it!

The slow-it-down scene with Marcus always feels creepy. He's being manipulative, albeit extremely low-key manipulative. So Simon, who didn't ask for any of this drama, now has a guy who's supposedly "waiting" for him to get over Wilhelm, and who's also incidentally critiquing Simon's home life, again in a low-key way. And then he shows up unannounced at the rowing competition like a stalker, throws off Simon's focus amid tons of overflowing testosterone, and plants an uninvited kiss on him in public. I'm like, bitch, read the room.
