Well, I'm unfortunately going to have to put off watching this reaction until tomorrow, since it's 2 at night and I've got work tomorrow, so I should try to get some sleep. If I even can sleep, with this oppressively hot and humid weather we're having over here as well. Looking forward to seeing the reaction, though. Should be a good one.

You're the first one of the reactors to come even close to figuring out the video. And I love your intensity about this series. Matches mine and a lot of others. But it shocks me how many are indifferent to it. Or not even aware of it as your weren't.

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with how perceptive you are to pick up on the dead pixels and make the connection of it leading to August, through other pictures of his with the same dead pixels. Never seen anyone else pick up on that before the reveal by Felice. I certainly missed it on the first viewing, even though they were quite obviously there on rewatching things. Also, while the song played at the end and Wille's look at the camera probably made most of us feel hopeful for where season 2 would go, making those of us who watched this show when it first came out wait a year to see how things would progress from here was... Well, let's just say that when those end credits dropped, I had some very choice words for the writers/producers for messing with us like that. 😄

Every time I watch the scene when Wilhelm confronts August and yells furiously at him, I find myself hoping the dialog will change, with Wilhelm telling August he wants to rip his throat out. To me that would be a proper, justified sentiment.

I'm sorry you felt that way about the ending of season 1. I thought it was the perfect ending of act one of what was to be a three act play. Thank goodness we will get to see act three.

Ah, perhaps I should have been clearer. I love this show, I love season 1 and I love the ending of season 1. But knowing we had to wait a year to get any kind of resolution on how things would go for Wille and Simon was definitely a bit of a "well, damn" moment. When I said I had some very choice words for the writers/producers, I was really just playing things up a bit for dramatic effect. I fully agree with you that the way season 1 ended made perfect sense and nicely set things up for season 2.

OMG please watch season 2 ASAP!! I subscribed for it :) Also, you are the best reactor I saw so far reacting to YR. You notice so many details!! A little heads-up for you: 1. You noticed Simon has a good voice and that is sooo true, it is one of the reasons he got a role. Omar (actor who plays Simon) is a pretty famous Swedish singer, you totally should check it out! Also, it is his first acting job ever. 2. I LOVE how you hate August, but at the same time give the actor his credit for it. Malte is such a sweet person. 3. In Sweden same-sex marriage legalized since 2009 and the real Swedish Royal family made a statement that if one of the monarchs will ever come out as gay it's never gonna be a problem like in the show. 4. Alcohol is not forbidden in Sweden :) That is just a problem with a translation, they were talking about moonshine that Simon's father dealing witch is I'm pretty sure illegal. Also, keep in mind it's a school and not a college or university so they are all kids. (Willie is 16 as he is the first year, and August is 18 as he is the third year) 5. Also if you were wondering why intimate/sex scenes are so good that is cuz they have a great intimacy coordinator on set and that is basically like a choreography for the fight scenes :) 6. One little detail is they decided not to claim Willie with any labels as gay/bi/pan just so anyone can associate with it. The same in real life Edvin never talked about his sexuality and Omar is bi.
