So what is this thing?  And what's that, a logo to what?

Imagine you get a few commissions from an artist at a convention, a story around it starts to grow, and oh...thirteen years later there are over fourteen color illustrations of your world, a character turnaround, a real life clothing item inspired by the art, your own logo, cover designs, and a short story of your character all created *with you* by this artist.  And then the artist says, now let's publish this and make it real.

And so we share, the story of "QuickXyk", (it rhymes, sounds like 'zik') an illustrated Novella of Eric's (Xyk) coyote character, as illustrated and written by David Lillie, (I colored) with editing, character, and guiding from Xyk.  I've never shown most of these pieces online before, they've been carefully hidden.  But now's the time.  One piece per convention spanning work mostly from 2009-2017.

For the next three months, we're going to explore the steps to making this art and uncover the finished visual pieces of this story.  I'll go in story order so you can fill in the gaps with your imagination.  And when the time is right, there will be an opportunity to read a copy and if we can, add these pictures to the book.  Which is for you.  And a note, this isn't a campaign on Indiegogo, this is a little experiment we're going to try on the Vivid website.  But more on that later.

A new feature we're doing, is each day I'll add these patreon pictures to our Dreamkord attached Discord server noon-ish.  You can see them grow in the 'Art-ifact' room.

***Please note:  If you want to spend 13 years collected commissions of all one theme, that's cool.  That's you.  Dave does not have time to do this again.  I can promise you we don't.  We have so many comics and story and animation to do for everyone and that everyone wants to enjoy!  But in this case, please appreciate that the stars aligned.  I'm sure a lot of other artists would love to help your need to combine western and eastern cultures.***

Now if you don't mind, a certain coyote has to out-fox a bunch of foxes in a western meets eastern setting. (Don't ask why, foxes are rich and powerful.  Coyotes gotta steal!)
