Patreon Overhaul- New rewards & more (Patreon)

Time for some spring cleaning!  With Volume 5 accomplished and more creative options on the table, Liz & I are looking to upgrade our sharing capabilities.  We're making the fabled Art Attack an official perk, with some new ones besides.

Thank you so much for helping us bring our art to life- we couldn't do this without your support, and we're excited to give our pledges & rewards a revamp.

Changes activate next week- here's what to expect:

New Discord Rewards

We're launching a backers-only Discord (For subscribers from Patreon, Subscribestar, and Twitch) where we can share more casual art and updates for our core supporters.  (That's you!)  We'll set up the Patreon / Discord integration so you get a server role that provides access.  (This may require you to use the same e-mail for your Discord account as your Patreon.) 

Youtube Credits

For feature content (Like Tectomic featurettes or new David tutorials) we'll list backers in the credits at the end of the video.  Your username will be given public (and private) gratitude.

Tier Changes

$1: Backer   $1---> $2   (New backers only)

If you're already pledging at the $1 level, you're set!  No need to change- I believe current backers get grandfathered in with that original $1 price.  But $2 will be the minimum pledge for new folks.  Processing fees are no joke.

$5: High Resolution Backer   

No change, you're still gonna get Clip Studio file downloads!  More in the pipeline.

$10: Votary

Voting kicks in at this level- vote in our polls and  help us decide what to draw next.

$20: Art Attack

It's now an official part of the tier- every month, you may get something in the mail from us.  Could be a signed art print, occasionally we might be able to do pencil or sharpies sketches.  (Be sure to reply to Patreon DMs when we're prepping to mail.)

$50: Pledge Pins    (LIMIT 10)

We're making special limited-edition Dreamkeepers hard enamel pins, a different collectible design every month- at this level and up, you are in the exclusive Treasure Club.  Pledging here is the only way you can be guaranteed to acquire these designs, as some of them will never be manufactured again.  

$120: Associate Producer    (LIMIT 5)

You get the Art Attack, the Pledge Pins, the previous perks, - and your name in lights.  As an Associate Producer, you are literally helping us produce new content, and you'll be listed large and in charge in the credits.  Thank you for the supercharged assistance, backers of your status are legend.

Pin Fine Print & Annual Pledges

Manufacturing pins leaves no logistical wiggle room, so we can ONLY deliver pins to backers at the proper level, whose pledges successfully clear at the end of the month.  Also note, there may be a month or two delay between when you earn your pin and when it arrives, since it takes some time to have them made. We'll post an update to Patreon when the pins ship.

Patreon allows backers to pledge annually, so we'll activate that option for any who would like to try it out for added peace of mind.

We're doing the Pin Pledge tier for a full 12 months, 12 unique enamel pins- and if it goes well we hope to continue indefinitely, there are SO MANY characters and designs we'd love to see in gleaming pin form.  

FIRST MONTH:

For the month of May ONLY, we will be giving the Pledge Pins to every backer at the $20 and higher level, so folks can get a chance to see what the first pin is like before deciding if they want to try for one of the limited Pledge Pin slots.
