Couchcon is coming, and the Dreamkeepers table will include commission slots.  Prices and options are displayed above.

A new option:  Vivid will be fundraising for our creators by offering wallscrolls of their work.  If you have ever commissioned a participating Vivid author, you can get that art on a beautiful custom wallscroll.    Details coming soon.

I mention it here because our highest commission slots include the custom wallscroll already in their price.

The slots will be sold in our online Vivid store:   https://vivid-publishing.mybigcommerce.com/

When announcing publicly we'll say commissions open 'during Couchcon,' but we will be providing backers here with the exact time in advance.

But a question:  Should we open all slots at the same time in the beginning of the weekend, or open some on Friday, and the remainder on Saturday?  I'll post a poll in here tomorrow-ish to see how you folks feel.

Flattered how many of mine made it on the example sheet!~~ I'm biased towards weekend for slots opening as I don't work then with new gig that'll fund loot so long as I practice healthy germaphobia!

Some on Friday, some on Saturday. It would help people who might be late or not able to arrive on friday Might I also suggest a limit on how many a person can get of any slot? Last time someone supposedly got 5 sharpie slots, and while business is great, it yoinked a ton away from others who could not afford much and left many more staring blankly. So many a limit of 2 for the cheaper stuff would be a good idea. Just my suggestion, I hope you don't mind me dropping it here. I do hope you guys sell out again!

I'm honored one of mine made the example sheet as well, and I'll agree with vath, it seems fair to open some on one day and the rest the next day. And a comm limit per customer seems the best way to go! This is gonna be amazing, can wait to see the other artists who will be vending. This is gonna be awesome

Question: for colored and full commission is it $200 and $550 PER character or 2-3 characters

The two days thing does give people a couple opportunities to get a commission in the click race.

For the 'Full Commission' slot, there are no limits on the number of characters. The price includes whatever the customer wants. If I can draw it in an 8.5x11 space, I will! For the 'Color Added' slot, the lineart is already done- so however many characters are displayed, we will color them all, and it doesn't change the price.

Thank you for the feedback. It's sounding definitely like most people would appreciate a Friday-Saturday split to make the opportunities a little more available. And limiting slots per-customer didn't occur to me, but that is an EXTREMELY good idea. Maybe something like, max one slot per category for each customer? That way folks that are trying to get a sharpie sketch aren't flooded out by a high-roller. Thank you for mentioning something, it didn't occur to me but this makes a lot of sense.
