Map showing the region around Vanth's neighborhood.  In earlier eras the Westgate was an important hub for traffic into and out of the area, with the thriving Wild Market springing up.

Further inland from the Sky Road, a network of military forts allowed for Anduruna warriors to intercept anything coming through the Westgate.  But those were older times.

 With the development of the aqueduct transportation system, Westgate became almost entirely irrelevant within a few generations.   The bustling village becoming a more run-down low income area, while the middle class Tinia district sprouted up along the aqueduct route itself- allowing residents to shuttle in to work at either the local CCA offices in Turran Tower, or the Torchlight lunarous refineries on Lake Ianna.
