A scanned piece of burnt paper, used for Volume 1 texture.  This was hand burnt by Dave over the stove, pre 2007.

Interesting. This brings up memories of David talking about a big fire they had several years ago. I'm sure this didn't have anything to do with the fire that nearly (or totally?) destroyed everything they had at the time. Just an interesting observation. Nice texture. Safety first!

Oh, the burnt paper making is completely unrelated to a case of bad neighbors. And we have enough burnt paper texture scanned now to reuse over and over.
