Sign Language Commission (Patreon)

The sign language commission, colored!   Thanks to Darz for helping on the color blocking- loved his direction on the moose, inspired by The Red and Green show.   

I've never drawn sign language conversation before, thanks to the commissioner for the great references, they really helped!

What are they saying exactly ?

Vick (Character on the right) is saying, "Maybe I gotta head off to work before customers get mad at us." Indi is saying, "Of course, we can speak more later." They both sign "Work" and "Of course", but the facial expression (Vick's right eye brow hinting at the crowd) and Indi very gracious expression convoy more to the message and of course there's body language that Vick is just about to get up and Indi is turning toward the customers to get back to work.

Dang this is breathtaking!! I love the decorations on the wall and the expressions are just so beautiful. Indi looks gorgeous with the flower in her hairline and the Commissioner’s character looks like a pleasant fellow

Oh ok nice, the surprised and annoyed way the others are looking on had me thinking Vick had ask Indi if they could get together later as in a date and she was accepting and gesturing where they should meet.

Though for backstory, Vick and Indi are more or less just friends, not really anything more than that. So it's just a casual conversation. Not really surprising for other people to be surprised by such conversation, because finding a deaf person is 1 out of a 1000, so in a city of 4 million, there would be only 4000 of them that use this language.

What a really nice comm with the basic concept and how things were carried out, a conversation between DK'S based around language is as unique as it is cool and seeing the patrons reactions to such a situation is also interesting, particularly in the case of ol' Grunn and his meme worthy expressions. Do I even need to question what he's doing over th- And just like Garrett said, Indi does pretty lovely with her outfit and color scheme. This is actually the first time I've seen Vick before but he looks def charming and it's rather awesome having him speak sign language. Moose and other BG characters also look nice. All in all, absolutely beautiful!!
