Lord Kiyo

Not sure why people dislike it so much.

Matthew Dieck

Or, -ooorrr- ... Just throwin it out there... if you happen to have an Android phone... ... ...just grab the DK app and tap-hold the main logo to go directly to the "About" page. Then pass it to a friend.

It was shit compared to the original three now 4, 5, and 6. Want anything else, just ask.

Lord Kiyo

I would admit that it feels nothing like the originals. but I still enjoyed the movie. I think peoples problem is that they spend way too much time comparing. If your too busy comparing things, you will never enjoy things. One thing that makes it real different is they put a lot of comedy in the movie. their was no such comedy in the originals

It's not really the comparison of star wars episode that is the problem. It's mainly how Disney portray the characters that we've known for so long like Luke Skywalker and Leia Skywalker and so many other characters that were supposed to have some backstory. They also didn't do anything to clarify on the plots from The Force Awaken, like how is Rey supposed to be better at lightsaber duel than Luke Skywalker in a span of a week after discovering her power? There are a lot of problems with Rey character and Phasma was completely glossed over especially when it is played by an actor from Game of Thrones of all things. Also Episode 8 pretty much break the one rule that they shouldn't ever break, weaponizing hyperdrive. Now Deathstar is entirely pointless when you could just slam X-Wing fighter onto a planet at lightspeed.

Lord Kiyo

Well it would take a few capital ships to warp speed into the Death Star to cause enough damage. keep in mind in the movie, she only clipped the wing.
