Just a quick peek at the current state of the Dreamkeepers video game.

Apologies for the jerky video- the game played smooth on my end, but Picarto was chopping things up a bit.

At this point in development Mace's range of motion (thanks to concept sketches) is increasing nicely.    The Hive Bats aren't doing much yet- and they can't even attack.

Perfect difficulty level for David.

I'm beginning to appreciate the different lighting engines even more, now that there's a range of content in the setting that it can apply to.   And these are just bare-bones tests, I think the final product- when designed and carefully assembled like a true Dreamkeepers scene- is going to really be something.

August 2017 Video Game Snippet

Just a teensy progress sample from the Dreamkeepers Video game- forgive Picarto for the jerky video display.

This looks pretty good so far. I like the variety of lighting and sense of time given to the setting and the "power mode" given to the character. Mace's frames of motion looks nice atm (I can only imagine the final progress) and his interaction with the lucre coin as well as the bats seem fun. You're just spewing awesomeness our way, David! Thanks for sharing and good luck on the rest of your stuffs! :)

Those fire effects are awesome. I also like the sun beaming too. Too bad I can't do that good with the games I make.

Paul Bibb

That's pretty awesome :)

Wicked! :-) I'm guessing we shouldn't read too much into Mace's power demonstrated here. Throwing fireballs seems more like Bast's thing, anyway.

Marko Vinu

Feels a bit floaty, but otherwise seems aight.

Yeah- we just needed to test powers for the game, and Mace was the only drawing we had, so he's testing stuff that doesn't necessarily match up with the story.
