Gosh the bonus update kids are definitely growing on me. Was I the only one who found it kinda weird they referred to themselves as npc's though? Other than that Very cute update

I mean with other characters we go into 2nd person mode "You are now JOHN EGBERT"- so technically any character who you don't do that for is an NPC

There were the two people who paid in Kickstarter for their fantrolls to be included in one panel, and showed up and were immediately vaporized. Admittedly, that's a special case. Apart from that, I don't remember Horuss doing anything except fill out a Zodiac sign.

I liked the story, however some of the emoji used didn't load up for me which was kinda annoying as I couldn't go as hard into the content.

@Steph Human Yeah definitely by all technical means they are but it's not like other characters in hs1 are Aware they aren't being the main character at any given time unless they're feeling especially Meta

Unrelated to the update, but has anyone else noticed the dip in patrons lately? I feel like we gotta do something to get the numbers back up, bc this is ridiculous. I'm a patron for a podcast about engineering disasters that has like twice this amount despite seemingly having very little going into its production, and also having way less of a built-in base than HS-related anything has (though admittedly you get their bonus content for 2$ with no upper tiers, so maybe the bonus updates being 5$ a month scares ppl off for some reason?)

The dip happened over that 2 month hiatus. But it really started when the homestuck reddit mods released some info about a discourse they had with the hs2 creators. It made both parties look rather ugly i won't lie.

However, in my personal opinion, i think the moderators of the reddit did it deliberately to fuck with homsetuck^2 production. Cause i noticed some rather revealing comments on their page. I also know from personal experience that the mods can be spiteful bastards that don't listen to reason under the wrong circumstances. So yea.
