Hi I have a question. I want to make animation render in Blender, so how can I merge your rig into my current Sim. At the moment i export sims model using Simsripper, to DAE file. I dont know how join your rig into DAE file? Another question is how can I append an action from another rig into your rig? I have tried but only a few bones work, other bones do not move accordingly. Thank you

Hello! Sorry for the late response! Here's the answer to your questions. You do not join my rig with a dae file. The rig is meant to modify base EA mesh. However, you can make the mesh follow the rig's movements. Assuming your sim does not have a unique height (if they do, this method can still work but I don't fully recommend it). What you can do is A: 1) Delete the sim rig and select the Sim's mesh object. In the object modifiers tab you will see something called "armature". The "Object:" tab should be blank / highlighted in red. Click it and select "Rig". Do this for all meshes. It should now move with the rig. B: If your sim has a unique height and it distorts too much with the rig, you need to do a lot more of a tedious workaround by manually adjusting each bone to fit the sim's rig. To speed up this process, you select a bone on the exported rig and press Shift-S > Cursor to selected. Now press TAB to enter EDIT MODE and select the corresponding bone on the control rig. Then press Shift-S > Selection to Cursor. Repeat this process for every bone. For your second question. The control rig is NOT compatible with animations made WITH the EA rig. Only actions made with the same rigs are compatible with each other. If you need to blend parts of an EA animation with your animation, you need to do so after you've finished the base of your animation and baked it accordingly. Hope this helps! :)
